Edward Enninful was announced as the new Editor in Chief of British Vogue. He is a known advocate for the inclusion of people of color in advertising and fashion and a fighter in racism. Truly sounds like a great pick for the magazine and a not bad step for the Ghana-born stylist.
He moved at an early age to England and It is told that Edward’s mother was a seamstress and inspired her son with African native vivid color fabrics and clothing. His inspiration epitomized to creating colorful clothes to his British friends. It is very visible in his fashion editorials until today.
His fashion magazines career stretches long back, but I have a feeling he will insert true freshness into the pages of Vogue. Here some of his past editorials. Beauty.
