Recently Apple’s Senior Vice President, Retail and Online Stores Angela Ahrendt introduced the new concept of the Apple store in San Franciso. Apple stores are known as the flagships of retail innovation, changing the conventional stores methods to a new levels of consumer relationship.
Now Angela gives retail innovation a go and creates store concepts that are all about the community feel. These stores are aimed at making the customer stay in the store, feel comfortable and a part of a homey community.
The main purpose – to encourage shoppers to sit around the store and relax for hours. Eventually buying more.
