Bjork’s 3D Face Off

on

Lets start with the fact that Bjork is 50. Yes, 50. Kind of unbelievable to me since she always looks the same, still like a teenager.

I came across an article revealing a mask Bjork created for her recent album video that is 3D printed our of a scan of our internal face muscles.

The mask is a compilation of polymer strings layered and fitted on Bjork’s face creating a futuristic like alien appearance.

This mask done in collaboration with material designer  Neri Oxman and Statasys is a part of a whole collection Bjork works on with fashion designer Maiko Takeda.
